Session 1
WEDNESDAY - OCTOBER 21 - 12PM
The Understudies
From messy midlife friendships to a matchmaking scheme built on lies, these pilots ask what we'll pretend in order to be truly seen. In each story, the found family turns out to be realer than the romance.

you are here…
It's not the life you expect, but it's the one you're in.
Directed by Mandy Fabian
You are here is a 1/2 hour slice-of-life comedy dramedy about a 50-something single gay man and his close-knit circle of friends all navigating age, the messiness of life and love and the value of the family we choose.

Matched
Dating is hard. Fraud is easy.
Directed by Elvira Ibragimova
Plagued by medical bills, Diana endures another soul-crushing day as an elite matchmaker. She listens to self-absorbed clients, survives a humiliating video call, and narrowly escapes being fired. At rock bottom, Diana convinces her talented gay friend Charlie to play the role of ‘William’ for a dream date with Ciara, her client-from-hell. At the breakneck speed of a farce, the pair navigate the date’s debacles and decide to expand the business.
Session 2
WEDNESDAY - OCTOBER 21 - 4PM
Fighting For It
From a janitor chasing stand-up dreams to a detective stalking blood-soaked fight clubs, these pilots follow men battling to become who they're meant to be. In each story, the fight for a better life gets ugly before it gets honest.

Burncoat

KINGS COUNTY
Directed & Written by K.M. Murphy
A visceral cross-genre thriller that merges detective noir with horror and gore, set in the high-stakes world of underground mixed martial arts fight clubs.
Session 3
THURSDAY - OCTOBER 22 - 2PM
DIY or Die
Equal parts prison survival guide and comedic fever dream, Cell Block B finds absurdist ingenuity in the most unlikely places. It's a show about making do and making mischief, when you've got nothing but time and a coat hanger.

Cell Block B
Directed by EJan Prušinovský
Over the course of ten episodes of this comedy series, viewers will join David Broulík, a young first-time convict, as he teaches them how to make a vibrator out of a toothbrush and a crossbow out of a coat hanger. They’ll also learn how to survive a stomach bug outbreak, celebrate Easter, and make the most of a visit without visual or auditory monitoring.
