Join us for a Casting Panel:

Casting is a critical element in most narrative filmmaking and yet few people outside the industry understand what a Casting Director actually contributes to that process.  We are here to change that.

In this first-ever symposium at North Fork Television Festival, seasoned independent Casting Director Jessica Daniels will conduct a fireside chat with beloved actor Max Jenkins on the art and craft of Television Casting -- what draws us to a script, how we generate fresh, meaningful ideas and help creatives build a seamless and dynamic ensemble.

Topics we'll address include the balance between creativity and commerce, intuition and legwork, and specific ways we go about gathering choices for a role and the various means by which we present and advocate for the best possible choice. We'll also address challenges and possibilities in the new media age.
